Staff Changes
We are pleased to welcome Dr Mukundh Puthoor as a salaried GP. Dr Puthoor will be working six sessions a week.
We have also recently recruited an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Sarah Claydon) and a Paramedic (Hollie Childs). In addition with existing staff, Sarah and Hollie form part of our Minor Illness Team.
Facebook
The practice now has a Facebook Page. Please visit and like our Facebook page. The purpose of this site is to keep our patients up-to-date with relevant information.
Appointments
In order to ensure that patients are seen by the right Clinician at the right time, the GP Partners have asked for our reception team to ask all patients requesting an appointment, to briefly describe what the appointment is regarding.
This change has been introduced as we are lucky to be supported by a Minor Illness Team, who are able to see and treat a number of conditions. We also have access to additional clinicians through the Deal and Sandwich Primary Care Network.
Please be ensured that all of our reception team are bound by confidentiality policies.

Unacceptable Abuse of NHS Staff
Kent & Medway ICB are saddened by the rising reports both from primary care and other local services about the rising levels of abuse teams are getting. It is not acceptable and we are exploring what can be done to address it.
A public message from the ICB has been published as the first part of planning a wider campaign to challenge unacceptable behaviour towards NHS teams. You can see this first message by clicking on the following link:
